Our Aims

Our main aim is to help people from the Black, Minority, Ethnic and Asian communities even though everybody is welcome. Furthermore we also undertake programmes that can help identify conditions such as dementia and cancer as early intervention is imperative so that they can be treated.

Thumhara Centre works closely with other Organisations to build awareness and eliminate any barriers that the communities may encounter to achieving healthier lifestyle.

We also signpost refugees who may not understand how British healthcare and other services work.
